Seed and Soil. Become good soil.

Good soil is hearing the word and understanding it (Matthew 13:23). Good soil are those who hear the word and hold fast to it in their heart. Must have the word written on the tablet of our hearts. You may wonder why I care so much about this concern. I care because it applies to us all and how we combat with the things of the world. Truly, in order to walk as believers we must be good listeners of the word. Not just hearing..... Listening means to hear, understand, and do (in the will of God). In the google dictionary 3 similar definitions appeared for "listen" --

1. give one's attention to a sound.

2. take notice of and act on what someone says; respond to advice or a request.

3. make an effort to hear something; be alert and ready to hear something.

   All of these acts and doings begin with the doer. In other words.

In other words, seek to become good soil. That is what Christ wants. Mature, Fruitful, and Faithful people of God. It will not be an easy journey or process but seek to be good soil; so when the seed (the Word) comes to you -----> "'As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience. ' (Luke 8:15)
